Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all room bookings made at Kellys Hotel through our website, by phone or email, or at reception. They contain important and useful information before booking and/or after booking your stay with us. We kindly ask that you read these carefully.

Prices and Taxes

All room prices include taxes, wifi and in-room bottle of still water.


Payments 

When booking your stay with us at Kellys Hotel, guests are required to provide their credit card details to secure their bookings. Your booking will not be complete until you receive your booking confirmation to your email address.

For reservations with Free Cancellation up to 48-Hours before arrival date, Kellys Hotel reserves the right to charge first night’s room price. The balance due for your reservation has to be made in full on check-in.

For reservation as Advance Purchase Rate, Kellys Hotel reserves the right to charge full balance due on the day of booking. This is a non-cancellable, non-refundable, and non-transferrable booking rate. We kindly ask our guests to carefully consider this rate and its terms before proceeding with booking.

The price of your stay will be the price indicated when you make your reservation through our website, or by phone, email, or at reception. Where there has been an obvious discrepancy between our room charges and the price stated on our website or otherwise communicated to you, we reserve the right to charge our correct room charges.

The cards accepted at the hotel are: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Maestro.

No cash, cheque, bank card payments, or bank transfers are accepted when making your bookings at Kellys Hotel. 


Checking-in and Check-out

Kellys Hotel front desk is operated 24/7.

The check-in time is 3pm and all guests are kindly asked to check-out before 12midday. Early check-ins and/or late check-outs cannot be facilitated.  We will happily store your luggage in the hotel’s lobby before check-in time and after check-out time.

When checking-in, in the interest of security and fraud prevention, the guests will be asked to present a valid Photo Identification and the same card that was used to complete the booking. Acceptable Photo Identifications are a passport or driving licence. If you do not have your Photo Identification, we reserve the right not to honour your reservation. 

All charges incurred during your stay, for example food and beverage and room charges which you have not paid for in advance, must be paid in full when checking-out. 

No cash, cheque, bank card payments, or bank transfers are accepted at Kellys Hotel.


Cancellations and No-Shows

For reservations with Free cancellation up to 48-Hours before arrival date, you may cancel your booking up to 3pm local time two days before arrival date (the Cancellation deadline). If cancelled later, first night’s room rate will not be refunded. In case of no-show, first night’s room price will not be refunded and the remainder of your reservation will be cancelled.

For Advance Purchase Rate, it is a non-flexible rate and therefore no free cancellation is possible which means that no refund will be made if this type of reservation is cancelled. In case of no-show, full value paid will not be refunded, and the remainder of your reservation will be cancelled.

Special Requests

Any special requests mentioned in your booking are subject to availability and without doubt will be taken into careful consideration on the day of your arrival. However, if you do have an urgent request to make, please contact us directly to address this so it could be looked into with utmost importance. 

Breakfast

All our room prices are exclusive of breakfast. Our delicious freshly made breakfast for the hotel guests is available at an extra cost of €15 per person per day and is served in our French Restaurant l’Gueuleton daily between 8.30am and 10.30am.

If you have added our breakfast option when booking your room with us and if you have any allergies or special dietary requirements, it is very important to us that you let us know this before your stay.

Guests under 18

Kellys Hotel is designed for adults. We do not cater for persons under 18 years of age and our hotel is not suitable for family bookings, and therefore we do not accept such bookings. If a guest arrives with a person under 18 years of age, we reserve the right not to honour your reservation.

Hustle and Bustle in Kellys Hotel

Kellys Hotel is a lively and very centrally located place to stay in. Dublin city never sleeps and therefore some noise from the surrounding bars, pubs and restaurants during your stay is inevitable and is outside of our control. Unfortunately, we have no rooms that are soundproofed but we can provide earplugs if needs be. We feel that it is important to give you all heads up before booking your stay. On the other hand, Kellys Hotel is in the heart of the city and all shopping, attractions, theatre, bars, pubs and loads more are just on our doorstep!

Elevator and Air conditioning

Kellys Hotel is not serviced by elevators or in-room air conditioning units.

Parking

Kellys Hotel does not have parking facility. A public 24/7 car park we recommend for our guests is located directly behind the Hotel at the following address

Kellys Hotel takes no responsibility for any lost parking tickets, damage to your vehicle or loss of items at this public facility.

Our Rooms

The photography of our rooms and other hotel’s areas and facilities on Kellys Hotel website are for illustrative purposes only. Each room of Kellys Hotel has its own unique character. Your room you use during your stay may vary slightly from the photos shown on the website. While we try our best to allocate your specific room request, unfortunately it is not always possible.

House Rules

During your stay here in Kellys Hotel we kindly ask you to adhere to the following rules:

Rooms door locking system 

We are “old school” here and all our room doors are not self-locking. We advise all our guests to lock their doors manually when in or when leaving their rooms. Please note that there is one set of keys provided per each room. Lost key fee is 65.00 Euro. If you are afraid to lose them, leave your room keys with us in reception. 

Non-Smoking property

No smoking or vaping is permitted inside the hotel rooms or its other areas at any time. We reserve the right to charge the card you have provided when booking with us for any and all costs incurred in cleaning the room and restoring it to a smoke-free environment. We also reserve the right to terminate the remainder of your stay in the event that we find you have failed to adhere to this rule.

Residents only

Our rooms are for residents only. Non-residents will be asked to leave immediately. 

In-Room Safes

We provide a small safe in each room and advise to use them for storing your valuables. 

Extra Beds and Occupancy

We do not provide or allow extra beds. The occupancy of the room you have booked stated in your reservation is the maximum number of guests allowed in your room.

Animals and Pets

No animals and/or pets are allowed in Kellys Hotel.

Damage

We kindly ask that all our guests respect the hotel’s rooms and facilities. In the event that there is any damage to the room or/and facilities during your stay and if any items are missing from your room upon departure, we reserve the right to charge the card you have provided when booking your stay with us a full fee in respect of such damage and/or missing items.

Noise and Inappropriate Behaviour

We kindly ask that you respect our other guests and nearby residents when in their room, hallways, or any other areas of the hotel and avoid from any improper, violent or abusive behaviour and any illegal conduct at all times during your stay. 

Accessibility & Special Need

Kellys Hotel has no wheelchair access. The entrance is located on the ground floor and reception and all our rooms is accessible by stairs. If you do have a disability or special needs, it is important to us that you let us know this before your stay.

Privacy Policy and Use of Personal Information

Kellys Hotel applies the data protection principles to data processed on this website. It is provided to meet our obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) dataprotection.ie , which requires greater transparency with regard to your personal information, and which gives you greater control how we use it. We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This privacy policy supplements the website privacy policy provided on the relevant website you interact with when making a booking.

Personal information you provide us with in this regard may include your name, e-mail address, postal and billing address, phone number, special requirements, payment card details and information related to customer queries, comments and feedback. Our website is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.By submitting your personal data you are taken to accept the terms of this Privacy Policy.

We use cookies to ensure that we give you the best experience on our website. These cookies are used to track statistics, improve our website and provide more personalised services to you. You consent to our cookies if you continue to use our website.


How we use your personal date

We use and collect your personal data when you visit our website, property or use our on-property services and facilities in the following ways:

  • To complete and administer your reservation and stay, including processing your payment, and provide you with related customer service, including sending confirmations, or pre-arrival messages, assisting you with your queries and requests. This use of data is necessary to fulfil our contract with you or before a reservation is complete.

  • Any credit card payments you make via our website will be processed by our third-party payment provider and your payment data provided will be securely stored and encrypted by our payment service provider.

We or such third-party providers will contact you by email with your consent which was given at the time you provided us with the personal data.

  • To communicate with you by email or phone to confirm completion of the room booking. Processing of personal data in this regard is carried out on the lawful basis of fulfilling our contractual requirements with you. We may also communicate with you by email or phone in order to respond to any questions or requests you might have. For security purposes, we may also need to send you administrative messages, which may include security alerts. Processing of personal data in these regards is carried out on the lawful basis of our legitimate business interests to communicate with customers in relation to service provision and improvement and fraud prevention.

  • To conduct analytics to inform our marketing strategy and enable us to improve and personalise the experience we offer to our customers and to enable personalise and direct marketing communications.

We do not administer bookings from children under 18 years old and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. As a parent or legal guardian, you should not allow your children to submit their personal information without your permission.

Our website may, from time to time, contain links to and from other websites. If you follow a link to any of those websites, please note that those websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for those policies. Please check those policies before you submit any data to those websites.

Complaints

We always welcome feedback from our guests and we always aim to ensure that your experience as a customer is a positive and unforgettable one. We want to hear from you if you have any cause for complaint. Force Majeure

Kellys Hotel will not be responsible and will not be liable for any delay in performing, or failure to perform any of our obligations due to an event outside of our reasonable control. Such events include but are not limited to power failure, IT failure, internet service provider failure, fire, gas, water or other utilities, flood, storms, earthquakes, adverse weather conditions, acts of terrorism, or any other event that is beyond our control.
